
Mohamed Othman

Dr. Othman is the Martha Ann and Harold M. Selzman, M.D. Endowed Chair and Professor of Medicine in Gastroenterology and Hepatology Section at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Othman serves as the chief of gastroenterology section at Baylor College of Medicine and Chief of Medicine Subspecialities Service Line at Baylor St Luke’s Medical Center. Dr. Othman has more than 120 publications and book chapters in the field of pancreatico-biliary disorders and advanced endoscopic resection. His ongoing research and grant funding is focused on clinical trials in the field of third space endoscopy, endoscopic submucosal dissection and pancreatico-biliary disorders. Dr. Othman is the senior associate editor of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Journal (GIE) and one of the founder of Texas Interventional Endoscopy Group (TxIEG).
