Vivek Kumbhari, .B.M, Ch.B., Ph.D. is a Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Kumbhari is a distinguished physician-scientist with a national and international reputation in advanced endoscopy and endoscopic innovations. With an h-index > 50, he has authored 300 publications, which has been cited over 10,000 times. Dr. Kumbhari's expertise spans all aspects of flexible endoscopic surgery, including endoscopic therapies for benign and oncologic gastrointestinal conditions, management of surgical complications, interventional endoscopic ultrasonography, submucosal endoscopy, and minimally invasive, non-surgical therapies for weight loss and obesity-related diseases.
