TIPS & TRICKS FOR "GRAB AND DRAG" CLIP THAT FACILITATES WOUND CLOSURE

ESD and EMR of large sessile polyps in the right colon results in mucosal defects that, in some cases, cannot be closed with standard clips. OTS clips are not suitable for large wounds and suture linked tack systems are hard to use and not widely used. A new clip is available that can be closed partially such that it can grasp one wound edge and drag it to the opposite side after which the clip is reopened, the free leg planted on the opposite wound edge and the clip fired. An understanding of the clip is needed and a learning curve needs to be traversed prior to use. This video explains how the clip is best used and also provides tips and key information regarding its use.
