LIVE STREAM SESSION This session will help attendees deepen their knowledge and improve their competency in recognizing and treating important anorectal issues in their patients beyond anal fissures, pelvic floor dysfunction and hemorrhoids. For too long, Gastroenterology education has glossed over the anus and anal diseases and deferred the management to various other specialists. After attending this symposium, you will walk away feeling more confident in your understanding of this area of the GI tract. Attendees will learn how to incorporate SGM diversity training into their teaching programs and their clinical practice and learn how to take a culturally appropriate history and physical exam of the anorectum.
