At the Clinical Symposium on Family-Friendly Work Policies for Gastroenterologists, weThis session describes actionable strategies for fostering work-life integration in gastroenterology. Despite the importance of family friendly work environments for recruitment and retention, many leaders are unsure how to practically implement family friendly policies in their gastroenterology division. ASGE partnered with AGA, ACG, AASLD and NASPGHAN to create a toolkit with practical and innovative solutions to accommodate family needs without compromising professional excellence. From flexible scheduling and telemedicine options to coverage models for parental leave, we this session will address the unique challenges faced by gastroenterologists juggling career aspirations with family responsibilities.
