LIVE STREAM SESSION Chronic gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms such as chronic nausea, abdominal pain, and bloating and visible abdominal distension can be challenging to manage in clinical practice. Comprehensive diagnostic testing is often performed in patients with these chronic symptoms and do not reveal findings to explain their symptoms. Patients are often not satisfied with available treatments. There is increasing evidence that a multidisciplinary, integrated care approach with the collaboration of gastroenterologists, GI dietitians and GI psychologists can be effective in managing chronic, bothersome GI symptoms which may be due to disorders of gut brain interaction (DGBI). Case presentations of patients with chronic nausea, abdominal pain or bloating and distension will be presented along with concise lectures and panel discussion.
