Advance resection techniques create larger and larger defects and with them the potential for acute and delayed complications. Luckily, advanced closure techniques and tools have paralleled the evolution of resection and offer a variety of approaches to closing tissue defects, both intentional and unintentional. This session reviews the tools and techniques of endoscopic tissue closure.
