Microbial Therapies for GI Diseases, Probiotics and Synbiotics in Health and Disease

SOCIETY: AGA This session will explore the therapeutic potential of the gut microbiome in treating inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal cancers. Presentations will cover the effects of probiotics and synbiotics on gut health, including their roles in mitigating chemotherapy-related toxicity, preventing carcinogenesis, and enhancing immune responses.
