SOCIETY: AGA This session will discuss advanced topics in malnutrition, beyond the fundamentals of nutritional assessment and replenishing inadequate nutritional intake. Topics will include (1) understanding the physiologic impact of malnutrition on gut health, immunity, and microbiome; (2) approaching challenging cases where the etiology of malnutrition is unclear and/or malnutrition is resistant to standard nutritional therapies; (3) refeeding syndrome; and (4) the paradox of sarcopenic obesity.
