Inflammatory Tuning of Gut Epithelial Proliferation

SOCIETY: AGA Aberrant proliferation of cell types along the GI tract is a hallmark of pathologies both benign and malignant. This session will feature speakers who will examine the mechanisms through which inflammatory cells and mediators modulate proliferation of epithelial cells in the esophagus, stomach, and intestine. Epithelial cell and immune cell biology will be discussed.
