SOCIETY: AGA This session aims to delve into the existing gaps in care within a GI practice and how they can be effectively addressed by incorporating a GI expert dietitian. It will illustrate the best practices for integrating a GI expert dietitian into your care team. By highlighting the unique perspective of a dietitian in contrast to a gastroenterologist, this session will provide valuable insights into the benefits of having both professionals on board, leading to a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care. Additionally, participants will gain a deeper understanding of insurance coverage and reimbursement for nutrition services, thereby enhancing their knowledge in this area.
