Immuno-Oncology for the Gastroenterologist: Therapeutic Advances and Implications for Management

SOCIETY: AGA Interception and manipulation of the immune system is increasingly a strategy for both prevention and management of gastrointestinal and non-gastrointestinal malignancies. This session will provide a primer on the basics of immuno-oncology for the clinical gastroenterologist, an overview of currently approved therapies for gastrointestinal and liver cancers and their gastrointestinal complications, and translational discussions in immuno-oncology.
