This session will discuss the mechanisms of enteric neurodegenertion influenced by diet and inflammation. The neurocircuit signaling in glia, smooth muscle cells and IPANS and mechanisms underlying anal sphincter fibrosis will be discussed. Participants will understand the genetic basis of CIPO and it impact on patient management.
