Endohepatology is rapidly evolving as integral to the comprehensive care of patients with liver disease, combining endoscopic technology with hepatology care expertise. As advancements in technology continue, the field is likely to evolve further and should enhance diagnosis, management, and treatment of patients with liver disease. This session will explore the latest developments in the field and cover elements of liver disease assessment (including the role of liver biopsy), diagnosis and management of portal hypertension (including the utility of direct portal pressure measurement), and therapeutic endoscopy.
