As a procedural specialty, adverse events and complications will touch every provider in the course of their career. This session will provide attendees an overview of this aspect of our professional responsibility and response to adverse events. The session will start with an overview of how to create a culture of reporting and quality assurance. Following this overview, thought leaders in the area will discuss practical tips on how to respond to patients and colleagues after an adverse event. The session will close with an innovative approach to teaching and practicing these skills.
