The pathologies involving the GI tract behave differently in different parts of world because there is significant ethnic, geographical, cultural, and economic diversity. The difference in management skills and the available resources across the vast population of Indian Continent makes the management more complex and variable. The Indian doctors have evolved in management of these diverse benign diseases in a manner according to the situation and need of the patient. We wish to present the details of management of benign gastrointestinal strictures in India.
