Founded in 1950, the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) is celebrating its 75th Anniversary throughout 2025. The Institute creates knowledge about and treatments for diseases that are among the most chronic, costly, and consequential for patients, their families, and the nation. Between the intramural research division and extramural funding support, stakeholders across digestive disease have benefited immensely from the training, coordination, funding, and stewardship of the NIDDK. Join leadership from across NIDDK and NIH will discuss major achievements throughout NIDDKs 75 years, the current state of the agency and vision for its future.
