SOCIETY: AGA The session entitled, the American Gastroenterology Association Gender Equity Project, will introduce the AGA's framework for achieving gender equity in gastroenterology. We will outline 6 domains to be addressed by this project including: Bias & Gender Disparities, Leadership & Career Advancement, Wellness & Balance, Professional Recruitment & Retention, Mentorship & Sponsorship and Recognition. We will highlight the current state of gender disparities in GI. The content will be delivered by 2 short talks followed by a large panel of diverse speakers who will be asked to provide their vision on the tactics required to achieve gender equity.
