AI continues to transform clinical practice and education throughout medicine and gastroenterology in particular. While there were many excellent sessions related to AI in DDW 2024, few had specific relevance to GI training. This Academy of Educators Plenary will provide foundational learning and up-to-date practical guidance for program directors, GI med ed researchers, and everyday clinician educators to understand affordances, risks, and practical applications of AI in their GI training program. Attendees will leave the sessions with practical skills and strategies for immediate use.
