LIVE STREAM SESSION Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms such as dysphagia, chronic nausea, belching, bloating/distention, abdominal pain, and diarrhea are common presentations to physician offices. They are challenging to manage clinically, as common diagnostic testing such as endoscopy, imaging, and laboratory studies are often unrevealing. Recent advances have furthered our understanding of these common, yet challenging, symptoms. The clinical evaluation and management of these common symptoms beyond routine, first-line testing will be reviewed and discussed. The goal of this session is to provide participants with the insights into the diagnostic approach and therapeutic options for these common symptoms after initial testings come back negative.
