Dr. Varadarajulu serves as President of the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute and is internationally known for his procedural expertise and clinical research in pancreatic and biliary disorders. Dr. Varadarajulu earned his medical degree from Madras Medical College in India, completed his residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, New York, gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Connecticut Heath Center, and interventional endoscopy fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He was a former Chief of Endoscopy and Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has been the principal investigator of more than 25 randomized trials related to interventional endoscopy, authored 70 chapters in reference textbooks, published more than 350 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and performed live demonstrations in more than 50 countries. He is the editor of the textbook ENDOSONOGRAPHY, former section editor for Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Deputy editor-in-chief of Digestive Endoscopy.
