Dr. G. Subba Raju is a professor of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at MD Anderson and holds the John Stroehlein Distinguished Professorship. He leads the Charles Butt, H-E-B GI Cancer Prevention Program and was the founding Editor-in-Chief of Video GIE. In 2019, he received the ASGE President’s Award. Dr. Raju established the nation’s first Endoscopy Tech Training Certificate Program in collaboration with Houston Community College. His medical training spans India, the UK, and the U.S., including Cleveland Clinic, University of Iowa, and Harvard. Board-certified in gastroenterology, he is consistently recognized among America’s top doctors. His YouTube channel on colonoscopy techniques has garnered over 1,300 videos and 8.6 million views. He lives by the motto: “Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray.”
