Mayo Clinic

I received my medical degree from the Florida State College of Medicine in 2011, then completed internal medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville in 2014, followed by gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2017. I then completed an advanced fellowship in motility and functional gastrointestinal disorders at Massachusetts General Hospital before joining the division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville in 2018, where I am currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine and specialize in gastrointestinal motility disorders and disorders of gut-brain interaction.

My research interests include identifying novel pathophysiologic mechanisms and treatments for functional dyspepsia and gastroparesis, and I currently have over 40 peer-reviewed publications, in addition to authoring multiple medical textbook chapters. I am principal investigator for multiple prospective studies, including one which has been sponsored by a Clinical Research Award through the American College of Gastroenterology.
