Darrell S. Pardi, M.D., M.Sc.
Professor of Medicine
Darrell S. Pardi, M.D., M.Sc., is Chair of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and holds the academic rank of Professor of Medicine.
Dr. Pardi completed his M.D. degree, a residency, and chief medical residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. He completed a GI fellowship and a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Translational Science at Mayo.
Dr. Pardi’s research focuses on the clinical features, epidemiology and treatment of microscopic colitis, pouchitis, and C. difficile infection.
Dr. Pardi provides research mentorship to many trainees. He has received multiple honors, including several awards for Excellence in Teaching. He was also recognized with the Teacher of the Year Award in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Pardi also serves as Chair of the Software as a Medical Device Review Board at Mayo Clinic. His previous leadership roles include serving as Senior Associate Dean of Medicine and Pediatrics, Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education.
Dr. Pardi is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.
